Grout and Sanded Grout
You can grout glass block or floor tile pretty easily. Tim Carter of AsktheBuilder.com shows you how to grout. You have to use a special grout which is sanded grout. This is because the space between the individual blocks is large. Grout that is not sanded will shrink and crack in large spaces. Just add a little water to the mixture. The key is not to use too much water. You want it to be a consistency so it will not run when you tilt the bucket. The tools you will need for this project are a rubber float and grouting sponge. Spread some grout onto the floor tile or glass block. Then, get your rubber float wet and wipe it across the glass blocks to drive the grout into the spaces between the tiles or blocks. Use the grouting sponge last to lightly smooth out the grout and to wipe off excess grout. Make sure your sponge isn't too wet. You will need to rinse the sponge frequently during this process.
